A terminal that provides for bit-serial, time division multiplexed transmission in the Manchester code utilizing a single twisted pair of wires (or the equivalent) as the data bus. All encoding, decoding, multiplexing, and control functions are, typically, inplemented by asingle CMOS integrated circuit.
